The subject project is a high-rise residential complex consisting of 33 stories that include eight (8) levels of parking, a fitness/amenity area and pool deck, with condominiums at levels 10-32. The total gross conditioned area is 267,055 square feet.

Engineered Exteriors provided roofing and waterproofing design documents, and peer reviews in the design phase. In construction, EE provided observations of building envelope installation.

Project Description

The subject building is an office building on a podium slab over below grade parking. The exterior cladding features punched windows with insulated metal panels and a low-slope roof. There is terrace level waterproofing at podium slab at courtyards, elevated walkways, and traffic coating at covered balconies.

Project Description

The subject building is a multifamily residential building with retail space on a podium slab over below grade parking. The exterior cladding features cement plaster, masonry, and metal panel cladding with a low-slope roof.

Services Provided

Engineered Exteriors provided building envelope consulting services during design including performing design peer reviews of the project design and specifications and drafting Division 07 specifications for incorporation into the Contract Documents.

In construction, EE is providing services such as submittal reviews, assistance with contractor RFI’s, and site observations of the construction in progress.

NW01 and NW05

Project Description

NW01 and NW05 are two buildings in the first phase of a multiphase redevelopment of the northwest campus of the Tarrant County College District. NW01 is a student support and education building featuring three levels of administrative, classroom, and support space. The exterior of the building features brick and cement plaster cladding, with storefront and curtainwall glazing systems. NW05 is a science building featuring three levels of classroom, laboratory, and support space. The exterior of the building features brick, metal panels, and cement plaster cladding, with storefront and curtainwall glazing systems. Each building features a built-up asphalt roof with a gravel flood coat and balconies with hot fluid-applied waterproofing systems and concrete pavers.

Engineered Exteriors provided building envelope consulting services during the design phase, including providing limited construction documents for roofing and waterproofing components and providing peer review design services. In construction, EE provided services such as submittal reviews, assistance with contractor RFI’s, and observations of the building envelope work.
